Look of the Day ‘Italy’

It’s been a week and a half since I got back from 11 days in the beautiful country of Italy. I managed to travel around the country to Naples, Florence and Venice and see the wonders of each city which meant finding some perfect spots for my blog! I wanted to share a few of my favourite outfits that I wore in my time away in the sunshine.

This outfit was worn on the alluring island of Capri. It was a very windy day hence the strands of hair flying all over the place. I chose a cream lace skirt which I grabbed in Topshop‘s summer sale for only £13.50! It worked flowingly with a black cotton off the shoulder top and a pair of Birkenstocks (you will find that these were my no.1 pair of shoes on the holiday). I broke up the monochrome theme with my Kanken backpack in a khaki shade.

My second outfit was worn in the city of Naples. I chose a loose floral cami top due to the weather being so hot that I couldn’t bear a tight fitting outfit! I matched the top with a frayed denim skirt and accessorized it with a silver buckle belt. Again, I wore my white Birkenstocks and a cute little bag.

This outfit was worn in the evening in Florence with the beautiful Ponte Vecchio bridge in the background as the sun was setting. A cute crop cami top worked perfectly with a pair of linen stripe shorts. My Daniel Wellington watch and a small across-body bag added a hint of class to the outfit.

This outfit was worn in Venice which had many spots for taking blog pictures and is where the next two outfits were worn. This was also an evening outfit as I wore a metallic plunge body with a pair of crop plisse trousers, which you may have seen in my post Look of the Day ‘Structured Bardot’. I managed to grab an Italian leather bag in a Florence market for a bargain in a beautiful deep red colour.

The last outfit was again worn in Venice and was my favourite outfit from the holiday. Another item I found for a bargain in the Topshop sale is this pleated midi dress in a metallic pink. This is a very Topshop based outfit as the lace up sandals I wore with the dress were also from Topshop last year and so are the silver hoops I accesorized with. I finished the outfit with the small brown cross body bag.
