Bloggers Festival

This is a late post as I have been away for two weeks on holiday in beautiful Italy – a post will follow soon about my holiday outfits! However, before I went away I attended Bloggers Festival which was an event held by lifestyle blogger Scarlett London on the 3rd September.

The event was held at the luxurious Conrad hotel in London and was filled with bloggers and exhibitors. There were a range of new businesses who were interacting with bloggers and handing out samples to try which is the reason for this post as I have had a few weeks to try some of the products and wanted to share my thoughts on them!

The first product I’m going to talk about is 7th Heaven face and spa masques. I managed to grab a variety of their face masques ranging from Strawberry Souffle masque to Black Seaweed peel off masque. They also have a selection of spa treatments for your nails, hands and feet. So far I have tried their exfoliating Avacado Oil Mud face masque which was amazing on my skin, making it feel cleansed and fresh. It made my face feel light and was the perfect exfoliator before two weeks away in a hot country! I can’t wait to try the rest of their masques.

The next product I have been using is Heaven Skincare by Deborah Mitchell’s Peppermint Clarifying Hydrogel. This peppermint oil gel is suitable for all skin types and does everything you need in a toner; tones, moisturises and primes. I’ve been using the gel as a primer for my make up and it creates a base layer perfect for smoothing your foundation as well as moisturising any dry skin on the face. I found it held really well onto my make-up and I would highly recommend for those of you who need a moisturising primer!

Another product I have also regularly been using is Exuviance’s Retexturing Treatment cream which is perfect for rough dry skin on arms and legs. Exuviance is a skin care range created by Drs. Van Scott and Yu. This moisturising lotion helps restore soft skin as it resurfaces rough skin on your body. I’ve been using it on my arms and legs since my holiday as the sun always drys out my skin and I can already feel it restoring its softness! The moisturiser sinks in to the skin quickly after a few rubs, which I find always a plus with moisturisers as you don’t want to be drying it for ages before you put your clothes on.

Another brand exhibiting at the festival was Natural World Haircare which is a natural and organic hair care range. Natural World has a range of products treating any type of hair from frizzy to broken. I was given a moisturing treatment oil which is part of the Argan Oil of Morocco collection. I have never been one for using oil on my hair as I always worry about it becoming greasy! However, after using this product on the ends of my hair to repair and restore softness, I have become a big fan of hair oil! The oil moisturised and smoothed out any damaged ends which is exactly what I need – it also has a very light aroma adding a beautiful scent to your hair.

The last product which I am going to review is slightly different to the others as it is a toothpaste. Beverley Hills Formula is an oral care brand providing whitening toothpastes, mouthwash and oral care products to help your smile glow. They’re a different brand compared to your standard supermarket toothpastes with their Perfect White Gold and Black toothpaste (which are both actually the colour of black and gold!). I have been using the gold toothpaste which contains gold particles as they are known for having anti-bacterial properties. I haven’t been using the product for long but I can already see a hint of difference as my teeth look and feel lighter than before.

I hope this post is useful if you are looking for new products to try and I hope I haven’t rambled too much and made it a long read! I always believe in trying out new things and testing whats best for yourself.
