Look of the Day ‘Workwear’

Most of the outfits that I post focus on casual wear for the day or smart wear for the evening. I work full time in an office and I always have to create a new outfit each day to wear so I thought ‘why don’t I do a post where I focus on how to still make your outfit look stylish for work whether you’re up on your feet all day or sitting at a computer for 7 hours?’. Excuse my eyes in the photos, for once the sun was out in England and I had to squint to focus at the camera! For this outfit I have chosen a pair of navy cigarette trousers. This type of trouser is my favourite for any occasion where you want to dress up, whether its looking smart for work, a fancy dinner with your partner or drinks with the girls. They just fit so well and look so classy! You can get them in either a plain colour or patterned. So, I have paired the cigarette trousers with a raw edge t-shirt from Topshop and a pair of pointed ankle boots (which soon need replacing due to non-stop wear). I’ve overlayed this outfit with a camel coloured cocoon coat and a black chain clutch bag. I don’t actually wear a clutch bag to work but you can chooseÂ anything for whatever event you are attending. I’m wearing a dark brown lipstick from MAC (of course) to finish off.
