From previous posts, you may have noticed that I am a big fan of matching your shade of lipstick with your outfit. Well I have decided to do a post focusing on a few pieces of make up that I feel would complete an outfit perfectly. I have chosen to share with you what I would wear on my face when I’m going out in the evening. I don’t go out a lot but even if I’m just going out for dinner or a few fancy cocktails, I love to dress up a bit with a sassy pair of heels and a bold lippy.

With make up I don’t usually spend a lot on my face, however recently I grabbed myself a new MAC bronzer in duty free! If like me you don’t wear a lot of foundation or powder but want to bring a bit of colour to your face then this is perfect. ‘Gold deposit’ (£24) is a beautiful bronzing shade with a shimmer in it which illuminates you’re cheekbones when applied and blends perfectly with a highlight, making your face glow. A perfect brush to apply the bronzer with is the RealTechniques sculpture brush (£9.99). I also use a bronzer for my body to add a shimmer over the top of a nice tan in the summer I have gained from the sun or in the winter when I am lacking a bit of colour. The perfect product is Body Shop’s ‘The Sparkler’, with an old fashioned perfume pump I just spray it all over and brings a golden hint to my skin.

The perfect shade of lipstick would be MAC’s Dubonnet (£15.50). Red is my favourite colour for an evening outfit, my nails are always painted red so this deep red lipstick matches perfectly giving a very classy look. For your eyes you don’t need to spend much at all for your lashes. Rimmel London Waterfull mascara (£7.99) contains argan oil to seperate your eyelashes with zero clumps so they don’t weigh your eyes down.
