My recent favourites
I can’t believe it is August already, the year has sped past and so much has changed it’s crazy! Anyway, my post isn’t about what has happened in 2017 but in fact a few of my recent favourites that I’ve been given, purchased or been using over the past few months that I wanted to share.
MAC False Lashes Extreme Black Mascara
I must admit that I went in to MAC to buy a mascara thinking it was about £15 but ended up buying one for £19.50… However, I do not regret purchasing the mascara as it is one of the best ones I have ever used! I’ve never been a fan of my eyelashes as I’ve always thought they were annoyingly short and no mascara helped elongate them apart from two makes being MAC and Clinique. This mascara makes them look long without looking clumpy as you only need a tiny bit on your lashes. I highly recommend if you’re in need of a new mascara and willing to spend a bit more!
Lana Del Rey ‘Lust for Life’ album
A couple of weeks ago I went to see Lana Del Rey at Brixton Academy with fellow blogger Ali Hemsley who luckily managed to get tickets for us and she was amazing live! I usually download music onto my ipod rather than buy CD’s but it’s always nice to get the CD of an album you really like and I was kindly bought the ‘Lust for Life’ album. It is such a good album! Usually there is only a few songs I only like on an album but with this one, I like them all and they’re so easy to listen to. I’ve had this on in my car on repeat for my drives to work…
H&M statement tassel earrings
I’m not usually a statement jewellery type of girl and tend to stick with simple silver hoops, rings and necklaces. However, after seeing so many girls wearing these tassell earrings from H&M I thought I would be a bit daring and go get them for only £8.99! I went for red as it’s my favourite colour and I thought if I’m going to be bold I might as well go for it. I haven’t worn them much yet but I love them because you can just wear a simple plain outfit and then put these one and it becomes a whole new outfit. I’m now tempted to look for more statement earrings like these.
Palmers cocoa butter moisturiser
It was a while ago I went on holiday to Spain (which makes me incredibly sad) but to keep up my tan, I bought Palmers and I have used it every day since. I haven’t stopped using it even though my tan is far gone now, it just smells so nice and makes my skin feel great. Palmers cocoa butter is great for helping with dry skin, whether it’s from sunburn or you suffer with it as I find it very soothing and not harsh on the skin at all.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my recent favourites, it would be great to hear what yours would be!
